CPC is a lifeline to the community -- children, adolescents, men and women -- with services that promote wellness, recovery and productive lives. "We are excited and proud to be a part of an event that couples physical wellness with our mission of mental wellness," noted CPC President & CEO John Mans. The CPC Pier House 5K is the final race in the Jersey Shore Golden Grand Prix which also includes the Spring Lake Five Mile Run, the George Sheehan Classic, the Belmar Five Mile Run, and the Asbury Park 5K. Immediately following the road race, runners will assemble at McLoone's Pier House in Pier Village for a culmination of festivities including music, prizes, and refreshments for all the participants. All runners will receive T-shirts and goodie bags. "Pier House believes deeply in building strong community relationships that help the children, teens, adults and families of our community," said co-race founder Tim McLoone, whose restaurant initiated the revitalization at Pier Village. Pre-registration is $22 per runner; $25 after 8/31 to 9/6, $28 on raceday 9/7. Pre-registration for children is $5 or $10 after 8/1 and on race day.
