Overview of the Panel of Experts: Business Coach Don Norkus -- With 28 years as a successful business executive and entrepreneur, Don Norkus has proven that he has the outstanding ability to succeed. Starting with one store, he built and operated his own fleet of multi-unit retail centers with earnings of more than $125 million in sales annually. It did not happen overnight, and Don had to face many of the same challenges and obstacles that most business owners like you do on a daily basis. As a business coach he brings to the table not only his extensive experience, but great talent in management, acquisition, negotiation, business-building and financial development that grew his business from a single store to a thriving mixed-retail chain. Human Resources Executive Maureen Ennis -- Maureen Ennis is the founder and principal of ColemanEnnis Consulting and The Alternative Board of Monmouth County. Maureen is a dynamic change leader with a unique blend of expertise in strategic planning, human resources, technology, process improvement and change. Maureen has over 20 years of corporate experience with Honeywell, AlliedSignal and Prudential, successfully leading large scale business change and critical organization transitions. She is known for her flexibility and ability to provide valuable guidance to executives and leaders in a broad spectrum of business situations. Employee Assistance Professional Terri Dawe -- Terri Dawe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Terri joined CPC in 1997 as an Outpatient clinician and provided behavioral and family systems therapy to children and families of Monmouth County. She is certified in Family Systems theory which emphasizes not only addressing issues from a family system perspective, but also managing and navigating larger social constructs to produce positive outcomes. In 2001, Terri began working as an EAP consultant helping local employers and employees identify and resolve any issues that may impair an employee's ability to perform his/her job. As an Employee Assistance Professional, her goal is to provide behavioral wellness to employees and as a result, maximize performance and productivity for the employer. Moderator Jeanie Coomber -- Jeanie Coomber, is an energetic and seasoned facilitator with an expertise in Leadership and Communications coaching for Executives and Teams. Jeanie is the owner of Transition Enterprises, LLC and co-founder of SAMA Solutions and was previously a Vice President with AllianceBernstein for 15 years. Through her 19 years of corporate experience, Jeanie is well versed in the challenges of workplace transition and brings to her clients first hand knowledge of coaching, relationship building, management, project management, process improvement and team empowerment. Having lived and worked abroad, Jeanie can also offer insight on the challenges of working and interacting in other cultures.
