Since 1972, CPC Behavioral Healthcare has provided addiction recovery services to individuals and their families. This program is designed to interrupt addictive lifestyle behaviors and substitute an alternative structure which encourages abstinence, but utilizes a harm reduction model and works with the individual at his/her own pace.
The goal is to help individuals achieve and maintain long-term sobriety and a drug and alcohol free lifestyle by developing healthier coping skills and supports. The program emphasizes education and group therapy in which individuals are taught ways to identify and implement life changes for long-term sobriety. Techniques for coping with life stressors without substance abuse are taught. In addition, relapse prevention planning and 12 Step recovery tools are a regular focus throughout the course of treatment.
All of our Addiction Recovery staff are experienced in providing integrated treatment, as well as relapse prevention. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Groups run three times weekly, at three hours each session, for up to six months. There is a daytime, as well as evening, IOP.
